I am deeply grateful for your continued support of Lilac Earth Eco Cosmetics. As a small business dedicated to providing you with high-quality, vegan, and cruelty-free mineral makeup, every order you place is incredibly meaningful to me. While I understand there may be reasons why you feel more comfortable shopping on Etsy (and I appreciate your order no matter the platform!) I would like to share with you why ordering directly through my Shopify store is especially appreciated :)
Firstly, Shopify allows me to retain more of the revenue from each sale, which in turn helps me invest back into my business to improve my products and services for you. Platforms like Etsy charge significantly higher fees, which can be challenging for a small business like mine, especially given the current economic climate.
Additionally, when you shop through Shopify, you are engaging directly with the Lilac Earth Eco Cosmetics brand. On Etsy, my unique identity can sometimes be overshadowed by the larger marketplace. Shopify gives me the platform to showcase my products and brand values more clearly and personally!
Perhaps most importantly, Etsy has automated systems that will unpredictably shut down shops if they detect product photos they believe are used elsewhere on the internet, such as on AliExpress or Temu. Unfortunately, these platforms often steal original photos from businesses like mine, putting my Etsy store at risk despite my best efforts to protect my intellectual property.
It is also important to note that currently, the only two places online where you can purchase authentic Lilac Earth Eco Cosmetics products are my Etsy and Shopify stores. Occasionally, you can also find me in person at craft fair events in Saskatoon. Any other outlets claiming to sell my products may not be legitimate!
Your choice to shop on Shopify helps me maintain my brand integrity and ensures that you are getting authentic Lilac Earth Eco Cosmetics products. I am committed to providing you with the best possible experience, and your support on Shopify makes a significant difference :)
